    'Send Receipt Email to Customer'

    When I select 'Send Receipt Email to Customer' an email is sent when an order is placed. he default email says ... we have received your order and are processing it...
    How can I arrange to NOT send this email to customers whe have chosen to "send payment details separately"? (as we have not started processing their orders)

    I don't think you can.

    Probably your only option is to change the text to say something more meaningful

      You can only do this for all not selective as Jo states.

      FAO anyone who wants to switch off this...

      Go to Actinic

      SETTINGS | BUSINESS SETTINGS | ORDERING

      Uncheck the "Send receipt email to customer"

      You will then need to manually email all customers and you can pick and choose what you want to say with some pre-saved drafts.
