Hi,
I'm working on a website (currently live here: http://www.eziblinds.com/design/) that sells blinds. My client wants to have the ability to choose different drops and widths for each pattern, as there are a large number of price options for each style of blind.
I would like to build it in the following way:
- Select a product
- Choose a 'drop' from a component/attribute
- Another component/attribute then appears for 'width' depending upon which 'drop' has been chosen
- The price is then calculated based on the choices from each of the two components/attributes.
Is this possible? Or is there another, better way around the problem?
The alternative is to create a new product for each set 'drop' and just have one component/attribute for the width. This method is easy enough to do and works but looks untidy on the site.
Any thoughts?
Jack
