    v8 help idea... a graphical map... family tree style

    Don't laugh now!

    But it'd maybe help (newish) users (to v8) work out where each item can be edited from, its not all that obvious sometimes. Not to me anyway, and what do I know?

    Just a thought as i've searched for a number of things today and found certain things could be answered with the above help guides if they were available.

    You have been at v8 for months - don't go hiding behind the "I am a newbie" shield - it won't wash on here sunshine

    All the parts can be found in design tab by clicking on the actual part you want to change and it takes you directly to the right layout .. or right clicking on a bit of code and selecting from the popup.

    The is a user setting to select what happens when you double click - I found one more useful than the other (just doing an upload at the moment so not able to check the exact place it is on the menu)

      it's in design>customise

      certainly clicking in the actual preview pane to bring up the correct bit to edit is a huge plus point!

                That reminds me, this feature does not seem to work on my test system using vista - anyone else have similar problems

                    OK Correct that, if i have content page selected in design view it does not work, but the shopping cart page does, along with the some others. I have not checked all of them
