How do you start with your site?

Hi!

I'm just wondering what other people's processes are for starting a new site in Actinic?

Personally I use Fireworks/Photoshop to create a standard design.
Then I have the task of recreating it in Actinic - I usually load a theme, which has a similar layout in terms of menu layout etc, and then begin modifying it.

Thing is I find thius a bit messy. Is there a simpler/cleaner template to load up or anything? A basic layout rather than a whole theme?

Just interested in speeding up my site production!

I tend to build a design using a graphics package, and then create an outer layer in DW for the shell of the design. I also tend to use the clean css theme as base so all layouts are css based rather than other themes which tend to rely on tables too much.

Clean CSS in Actinic, graphics in PhotoShop, outer layout in Dreamweaver with temporary content to test in the main browsers and then register the design with Actinic
