    Upload Issues: Stops at "Checking Search Indices"

    Hi!

    Trying to upload a site but it always pauses at "Checking Search Indices" ("Creating remote directory structure") then eventually the upload dialog box disappears. Have tried a total site refresh but to no avail.

    Any ideas?

    It used to work OK before? Then first step is always Housekeeping | Compact Databases.

    If it has never worked - run the test in Web | Network Setup.

      Hi, cheers for the reply.

      It's worked fine last time I updated it (month ago) and I've tyried compacting databases but still with no luck.

      Anything else?

        Have you upgraded recently?

        I am sure there is also another post by someone else with the same issue, only last week i believe

          Yeah, I read the thread but It didn't seem to come to a conclusion on how to fix it.

          Not upgraded recently either.

              I had a similar problem and even though it said not respondind it was calculating the also brought stuff, which took around 20 minutes to do as i said the date from year dot.

              Just a thought

                By the way, it's version 8.0.0.0.0.0.TIKA

                  Is that the beta version you are using? I would suggest upgrading to the latest version, we are presently on v8.5.1 HFUA.

                    go into to marketing and remove the tick from the generate also brought list and see if that helps, if you do not have any orders then it will probably make no difference as there is not any date to look at

                      Sometimes happens on 8.5.0.0.0.0.HBKA

                      I sometimes get this on version 8.5.0.0.0.0.HBKA but works next time. It's a real pain given that it takes forever to generate the search indicies so I don't sit in front of the screen watching nothing happening.

                      I have 3,800 products with a couple of hundred duplicates.
