Upgrade message time & time again

Hi All,

Been out of the scene for a few weeks but tonight I decided to upgrade (not the patch). Before I am roasted over a hot barbecue (I pick up a slight tenseness in the air) I have looked through the posts and couldn't quite find an answer.

All loaded well and it asked me if I wanted to upgrade the site design which I say yes and it completed fine. It then asks about the shopping cart upgrade which again I said yes. It then comes up with an error "import abnormally imported". Now sometimes Actinic crashes or sometimes it lets me continue to the site.

Two problems;
1. Every time I open Actinic it makes me go through this procedure and..
2. Why does it fail at the 'shopping cart' upgrade (I have tried all choices in the option box with similar results)?

Although you probably don't want to hear it, that sounds like a problem for support. If you try a 'compact database' before it tries to upgrade, that might clear it, but its a longshot. Sounds like a corrupted database to me.

If you have a second system, download the trial, license the version and then try importing a snaphot into it, see what that does. While you are trying though, i think it'd be wise to get a snapshot off to support.

Oh eck,

After the first time I compacted the database but it didn't make any difference.
