    PayPal Pro Setup

    Hi There

I've just uprgaded to 8.5.1. I'm trying to setup PayPal Pro integration in Business Settings and it's telling me that along with configuring Website Payments Pro I need to enable the Credit Card Captuer Payment Method to the list. Can someone please tell me exactly which one I have to add to enable processing of orders without being passed to PayPal.

    Thanks in advance.

'Paypal Pro' (bottom of list) is the new addition.
    'Paypal' is the normal route.
'Credit Card Details Captured' is the other setting you require.

If you setup Paypal Pro your visitors get to choose which way they want to pay, not you.

      Hi

Thanks but I've added PayPal Pro from the bottom of the list and it now tells me the following

"Atleast one configured Payment provider requires credit card capture method enabled, please add the credit card capture payment method to the list or remove paypal website payments pro from the list"

The only ones on the list that refer the credit card capture are

"credit card details sent seperatly" or
"credit card details captured for later processing"

      ?????

      Thx
      Richard

        Hi Richard,

        Regarding:
        HTML Code:
The only ones on the list that refer the credit card capture are

"credit card details sent seperatly" or
"credit card details captured for later processing"
You need to select the 'credit card details captured for later processing' option, after which you will also need to setup SSL. This can be from your hosting company or using the actinic shared SSL, however you cannot use an external shared SSL.

        Hope this helps.
