What's the significance of this messge in error.err?

this past april, we converted a customer from v7 to v8. the conversion actually went quite smoothly, as the desgin, while custom, was relatively simple.

i was just poking around in his webspace and discovered that since the conversion, we have 18 instances of the following message in error.err:

Program = CATACACC, Program version = 76 , HTTP Server = Apache/1.3.27 (Unix)
, Return code = 999 , Date and Time = 2007/06/23 14:23
, Internal Errors = The input is NULL


can anyone tell me what this means? and what to do to correct it?

If you do a forum search on "Input is NULL" there are loads of threads discussing this error, sometimes its a shopper generated error other times it is shopkeeper.
