I dont think Actinic can do what I want.. or maybe it can...

Right I'm developing a new site for my music and other peoples.

The site will let you preview each track you going to buy with a little flash player then you add to cart etc.

So I need to be able to add that into the website. How can I do this?

Second I want to have "members" that become other artists in the site.

So they can also sell there tracks.

At the minute the only way I can see this posible is making a HTML form that they submit which emails to me. In this all the details regarding there track uploads including the song. I then go into actinic and add there page etc.

But obviously this if it takes off it will be a struggle.

Any Ideas havent got anything live as of yet. Just designing the site and building the site map at the moment.

    Thanks in advanced. D

You need the digital download version of the software so you can sell mp3s etc.

You can use customer accts to handle membership

you will have to add your own coding to allow people to upload their music and you will need to add these as products and create the digital download file that can in turn be purchased

Duncan built a site like this a few weeks ago - a search will find it.

        See:
        www.yopo.co.uk
That site uses a nifty flash player.

thanks guys appreciate it! I will have a search dont know what to search under though.. maybe he will spot the thread... Any huu I will look into that now.. Now as I understand it the customer accounts or "registering" only accurs if you buy a product? So if my members join the wont be buying they will be selling... Its alittle different from a normal site but very rewarding if it works!
