Setting SectionLinkLayout with Import

Is it possible to set the Section Link Layout setting for a section while doing an import?

My subsections have different settings to the parent settings but when I import they default to using the parent settings.

I have tried setting the "Section use parent settings" to 0 but that doesn't work either.

Have you tried exporting your catalog and then copying what is does on your import?

You must do as lee states and then when you re-import it must be a hierachy import not a flat file IMHE.

The Hierarchical import was what I needed. There is a SectionLink field that sets this.
