Price Match on Actinic Products

Im wondering if its possible to add price match form or something similar as a pop-up window to all products for pricematching -

something like if u`ve seen this item cheaper else-where fill in our pricematch form and well match it -

and if its possible to get it onto email



any ideas ?

i'd suggest that you edit the product template to include a form, with the name of the product in a hidden field, and the link that the customer has found to match your price.

this and their email address.

two boxes will display: link and email address.

and a send button, that goes to a formmail.

then check out the link in the email and get back to the customer.

they will muck you about something chronic, and you'll end up spending all day being undercut. you ahve been warned.

There are quite a few posts on a "tell a friend" topic. This allows a customer to notify email a friend about a product they see on your site. This might form a good basis for something to tweak to do what you want.

Be careful with Gabriels suggestion as your product will already be within an HTML form and you cannot nest forms. Opening a popup page and passing the product ref / name via a query string might be the best way to go for this.
