    Setting up the search pages

    Hi

I've searched the forum and the AUG and so far it comes up tops for answering most of my problems.

Two (hopefully easy) to resolve issues:

1 Can I have the original search phrase included on the results page? If a customer mistypes or spells something wrong and it comes up "no results" they can actually check what they have typed. (this did happen when someone tested the site and got a key stuck and then told me the search function wasn't working !)

2 Can I search on the attribute price? I have many sizes of product so the parent item is given a zero price and the attributes all have their own price. The price band search only appears to search on the price of the parent, nearly all are set to zero. It may be handy if someone is looking for a gift of a certain amount or has a budget on dog food of say £20

    thanks in advance

    Jill.

Have a look at this thread ... http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=28452

You could perhaps create a custom variable called budget and then assign it a value per product, you can then use this to drive a search. Take a look at the AUG 'Advanced Search...'
