Should this say "Fax Number Prompt"?
Because mine says "Tax Number Prompt" and I don't think it should

Yes I would say you're right - a typo I think. The description seems wrong, the prompt is 'Fax:'.

It's in "Order processing reports" under the "credit card" tab

I don't need it...I was just amending some "fax" text to read "mobile" (using the search) and noticed that it said

"Tax Number Prompt" as the short description...but the full description reads "Prompt for customer fax number" with the default saying "fax"

Typo, I assume!

Thanks Tracey, I have reported both, the first appears to be a typo while the second should have been obvious. These will be changed.
