    Upgrade/first upload/CreditCardTypeList/checkout3 problem

I've made a total mess of uploading our new V8 shop over the old V7 one and now the fixes that I made to the CreditCardTypeList (on this thread: http://community.actinic.com/showthr...ht=credit+card) have disappeared.

So no-one can buy anything as the Credit Card drop-down doesn't contain any card types.

I can't work how to edit the code that controls it, and when I try to open Checkout Page 3, Actinic closes without even a warning.

I can't seem to upload the V7 shop either - it just comes up with an error message at the 'merging increments' stage.

I've rung Actinic Cover about this, and their advice (after a day of waiting is to 'uninstall Actinic' and reinstall it. I'm not entirely convinced this is the best course of action.)

What on earth do I do?

Take their advice and learn the very important lesson about doing snapshots throughout your time with actinic.

      Thanks.

What 'lesson' about snapshots? I have been taking snapshots. When did I say I wasn't?

If you're trying to "restore" the V7 shop and you have an uploaded V8 one, I would imagine you'll need to completely remove all traces of the V8 store up there.

Did you try a Help>Troubleshooting>Website purge and refresh ensuring that al scripts etc are removed and re-uploaded?

The Help>Troubleshooting>Website purge and refresh button is greyed out.

Are you in test mode or have the network settings been deleted?

Can you reinstall Actinic and import a snapshot that works, then rebuild from there

                Hi

Thanks, that's what I've done, and that's worked ... except when I try to reinstall v8 it happens again, the credit card-drop down problem comes back.

My changes are still there (I removed the nested tags) but are no longer solving the problem... but I think I'm going to leave our old v7 shop working and sort this out next week!

Sorry, I got confused. What I meant was, using an older snapshot meant I could get my v7 shop back and upload it so that it worked correctly.

But I still can't upload my v8 shop without the credit card problem happening.
