    Mail to client

    Hi. In Business settings / ordering, I have ticked "Send me an Email when I have an order to dowload" and "Send receipt email to customer".
    But mail sent to me and no mail to customer ?

    Is your customer reaching the receipt page and clicking the 'Done' button?

      Done button (on my site "Terminer") is reached by all the customers who send an order, and as I regularly receive orders, I can believe that they reach this button.

        AFAIK the email is sent when the customer reaches the receipt page (clicking the done button isn't necessary).

        The most likely cause is that your email settings aren't quite right. In this case the SMTP server will often allow emails to go to your own address but will refuse to send emails to an external address.

        A quick way to test this is to enter your own address in the 'send receipt email copies to' box. If you then get a copy of the emails it confirms that Actinic is sending them but that the SMTP server isn't sending them on to the customer.

        If this is the case then you may need to enable SMTP authorisation. Check with your host if this is needed.

          Ok, I have entered my own address in the 'send receipt email copies to' box, update the site, create an order : no mail !

            What happens if you run a network test in Actinic? Does everything pass?

              Yes everything passed, except at the end, I get the error message "Failed to transfer a test file to the acatalog directory. Cannot find the file"

                Strange. It sounds like it should work and I can't think of what might need changing to fix it. The error message might mean something to someone else.

                If you try and send yourself one of the emails from within actinic does it work? (you can just overwrite the customer email address with your own and send it)

                  From an order, I sent a mail to me and another to a friend. Nothing arrived ! So 2 possibilities : Actinic dosen't send the mail, or the problem come from my host ?
