    Flat-File Import

    Hi,

A client of ours is using flat-file imports to populate their catalog. They are arranging their product spreadsheet in alphabetical order, yet when imported into actinic - they don't appear in any logical order.

They have a vast amount of products and do not wish to order them manually (by drag-drop).

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

check the product reference field... if actinic assigns your prodrefs then actinic will order the products based on this 1,2,3,4,5 etc.

try and convince your client to use a hierarchical import, it's far more robust.

Mole End will sell you a nice little utility that reorganises your products/sections alphabetically with only a few clicks.
