event triggered when orders download

is there a way to trigger an event or program/commandline when actinic has sucessfully downloaded or uploaded?

more to the point, are there any events that actinic exposes for the desperate plugin author?

actinic programmers:
can i have such a feature? an options page with a list of events in actinic and some browse boxes for programs to trigger when they fire?
