    Section Headings Text Colour

    Hi All,

Having uploaded my test version 8 of my site I found that the 3 section headers on the home page had 'black' text which should be white text. In design view I found it was easy to change the centre section text heading colour to white but I do not seem to have the same option with the 'store sections' and 'cart details' header text. Can anyone advise me how I can change these other two to white text?

Home page link is here> http://www.thecandlelightcompany.co....est/index.html

    Thanks...in advance.

Have a read of the thread called 'edit appearance' (5 threads down), see if that offers any assistance.

Oh jeez, I'm afraid I'm like budgetbumps in that thread, only a lot worse. I'm just about clueless with coding and have only vaguely heard of classes (but not 'css's!). That said I get the point that its better to learn the correct way so I'm not afraid to learn...but just need some considerable help!

At the risk of hearing any gasps of exasperation, is it possible that you could give me some 'idiot guide' pointers, or if not, any documents you know about that would help me?

It's Friday night and I feel the pub calling......

      Thanks Lee....

      Ian.

This is one of the better resources for learning css

        http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp

as it will teach you to code using the current standards, learn css then learn how to apply it to actinic

          Hi Ian

My first port of call for you would be the 'advanced themes configuration', can you adjust things in there and get it as you want. If so, then great do it that way as that is CSS, you are just using actinic's software to talk to change it.

If not report back and i will try to help, but its not too easy as it takes a lot of time to explain in plain English.

Thanks Lee, but at the risk of you sending your hand down the telephone wire and grasping my neck I can't even see how to change the advanced configuration, looks to me as though all the styles are set correctly.

Guess I will just have to hope that Actinic e-mail support guys can bail me out.

Thanks though, I appreciate your time and effort.

DESIGN | THEMES | Advanced Themes Configuration (button bottom left)

This is your first adventure into styling, you will see the colours you are using on your site, have a play with it, you might surprise yourself!
