design tab - editing code

Im finding that when i go into the design tab and try and click on an element to edit the html etc nothing is happening. I then have to scroll down to find the INNERLAYOUT and double click to drill down to the level I need, sometimes even this wont work.

Doesn't seem to be a problem in sections just the product itself. Using a CSS custom template and 8.5.1

Could be down to the custom template but not sure. Would be easier if you used the design tree while on the design tab, this will allow you to select the appropriate layout straight off.

Had a similar conversation yesterday, are you running vista, is i calling a script out side actinic, because it seems to block it as a security risk

no - just xp, dont go for all that bloatwear, floaty windows, glass like stuff - just bogs the machines down!

forgot all about that tab - my life just got so much easier!
