    related products in cart..quick Q

If I have 3 related products per item and I add 3 items to the cart, it gives a total of 6 different related products (obviously LOL)

Cart is set to display 3.

Does Actinic choose a random 3 from the available six? If not, how does it "choose"?
    Just curious really
    Cheers!

    Super question Tracey,

The related products list in the shopping cart will take into account all the products in the shopping cart, but it will be a single list. I am not sure as to how exactly they are selected or in what order, but the list here is generated based on the contents of the cart.

    From the help files:
Note that the list will be made up of related products from all the products in the shopping cart.

    Kind regards,

I read that, Bruce ( I did hit the help files first )
That's kinda what prompted me to ask the question because it's not clear exactly how Actinic decides which products.

It must be selected using some method because I'm sure it's not random, is it?

ok...on further investigation (and testing on 2 browsers simultaneously)...it does appear to be random selection and each time I refresh the "view cart" page it shows a different choice of 3.
        Interesting.....

Bumpsy, get on with improving your site, whether you find the answer to this question or not, it won't make a scrap of difference. My old man would say about you - "needs to know the ins and outs of a magpies backside"

Where the hell did that saying come from, it's damn stupid.

actually, when I asked it, I had a reason for it..but, I agree, it's not that important.
