    head> appearing

    I know this is a very simple one, just can't remember the answer sorry. When entering HTML into a fragment I know you have to add !! at the start and end as I have done but the head> tag appears as text above the html inserted. How do I stop it appearing
    thanks

        This is what you should have...

        Code:
        !!<
        <td width="100%"> &nbsp;
          <table border="0" width="580">

              </tr>

        EDIT - Although the header (!!<) and footer (>!!) is now correct your code needs looking at. What's this doing at the top for example?
        <td width="100%"> &nbsp;

        And this at the bottom?
        <p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></td>

          Simon, may i make a suggestion that you edit your posts and remove the email address, unless you like them to be harvested.

          also if this is going to be on you site may i suggest you either disguise you email or use a mail script to send emails.

          Just my opinion

            Thanks Duncan. I am not sure what the code you suggested is actually doing as all I am doing is creating a table in Dreamweaver and then just copy/paste into the fragment.
            I rely upon the dreamweaver WYSIWYG for the created HTML so dont know what this code is actually doing/not doing.
            Thanks

                    You an me both, ok you can show you email but show it as sales (AT) alexreade (DOT) net this sort of thing is the most common.

                    As for mail script, better off using either the actinic contact us form and changing it to suit or find one on the free ones on the internet. Be careful with the free ones though, the source of them might not be the safest and then the script might not be,

                    someone here might recommend one, as i dont use them
