Email Sender Wrong

Hi

My client has just emailed me to say that my name is appearing as the sender of their emails. My name does not appear in business Settings/Network Settings or indeed anywhere in text on the site.

I have mearly sent him a snapshot of his site which he has uploaded and which works fine apart from the weird appearance of my name as sender of their emails.

Paranormal investigator required.

Do you mean your name or your e-mail address?

Could your e-mail address be in the contact details in business settings?

Alternatively, who set up their e-mail account on their computer? Could be that your company name has been entered in there somewhere.

It's just my name in the sender field. All details in the business settings are fine.

It sounds likely they have your name somewhere in the setup of their e-mail account. Don't think there is any other way this could happen.

What comes up in your e-mail client when they e-mail you from the same address?

Which emails is it appearing in and where does it appear? i.e. Is it in the order confirmation emails or all actinic emails? Does it appear in the email text or just in the 'from' field?
