Thankfully, I never launched a v8 site (probably won't bother now either). Mainly because it has never worked fully or correctly since it was released and the response I have had from support regarding issues I have raised has been pants.

    PcPro's review should read:

Actinic is fine so long as you don't expect all of the features to work when you deviate from the default store.

      Thanks, Peter
I'll probably tackle it section by section re-opening Actinic in between to ensure the layouts "fix" themselves but I'll certainly make a note to turn off the marketing features beforehand to avoid all the pop up warnings

I have also found in V8.5.0 that if you change a reference code and then hit reset duplicates Actinic will crash.

I did report this and don't know if it was fixed for 8.5.1 or is still a current bug.

I am stuck with V8.5.0 at the moment due to the extra bugs introduced into V8.5.1 associated with the Reference ID change which completely screws my site up.

On a positive note sales are massively up with V8.5 site so I can live with the bugs.
        Regards

          ok..I'm tackling this today
starting with my smaller sections (which, ironically, are my plus size sections ) and checking each page preview as I go. Restarting Actinic where necessary.

Restarting is "fixing" the layout issue

Changing the references of hidden associated products is also causing Actinic to have a hissy fit.
It's bringing up the usual "changing this reference will change the associated product references" warning, as it should... but then viewing the permutations tab is showing all sorts of anomalies (associated product references missing...pricing column containing random selections etc)

HOWEVER, a restart of the software IS fixing this

I lost nearly all the details in a permutations tab but braved a restart and they were all still there.

It's more an un-nerving experience than anything else (not to mention time-consuming with multiple restarts) but it's not as disastrous as it might at first seem

          Just thought I'd mention it
