you're surely not implying that he has a life outside the forums, are you?

    Is that even allowed?

No half measures with the forum, you are either in or out, unless of course you are one of the strategic posters, who choose when to post. I reckon he's on an amnesty.

wow...you can choose when to post? I don't think I have that option on my laptop. It has an automatical reply feature that pops up every time I think about posting something...little people in my head made me do it

Which is lucky for you, you'd still be struggling with your problem otherwise.
I'm unofficially on holiday as from tonight, so i have lots of time free.

Kind of stupid posting your problem then President Camm if you're so clever and have so many friends to do things for you at midnight.

                  live short and enjoy.

                              David,

Here we have one of the major differences between English and American culture. In that short phrase, you insulted Lee.

Use of a persons surname in conversation once you are aware of their first name (unless the surname is prefixed with an honorific), is perfectly normal and acceptable to an American, but is an insult to a British person.

Lee's next post was a reaction to your percieved insult.

I know that what you did is standard American usage, but to the majority of British readers, those three words can only be read one way.
