DNS Issues

Hi,

I am having some problems with setting up the DNS to point to the actinic web space.

My problem is when I try to adjust the nameserver to the IP address provided I get a message 'IP addresses are not allowed' and is asking for a path.

Any help on setting up the DNS greatly appreciated.

We need a bit more detail - where are you making this DNS assignment and why?

If you are talking about Network Settings in Actinic, those require web addresses like http:// mydomainname.com/acatalog/ - full details in the online help/getting started guide/almost every thread in the Upload/network problems forum board.

normally when you assign name servers you do just that, give it a name server ie ns1.xxx.com and not an IP
