I NEED HELP concerning VAT issues

To anyone that can possibly help me....

In actinic version 8 i'm finding difficulty sorting out a VAT issue. Most of my sections exclude VAT on their products and yet 2 of my sections have decided to include VAT. Is there any way to fix this....I'm at my wits ends!!!!

1st, check your actual price layout and make sure its not set to "include vat"
if its not set to "include vat", then you need to trace the "parents" of the sections,
most of these settings (price layout included) are inherited from their parents.

so if you have a subsection 4 layers deep, you need to check that EACH of the parents (right the way back up the tree) have the price layout set to "inherit from parent"
