    feature request: hotkeys

ctrl + s to apply settings. instead of clicking the apply button all the time.

ctrl+s also triggers preview window refresh. regardless of the state of the contents.

sometimes i edit external css, and it does not update properly.

The print (Cntrl & P) don't work for me, does it work for you?

Ctrl + S are used to create a new section.
Ctrl + P are used to create a new product.

(Take a look in help, Keyboard Shortcuts in Actinic, for all keys)

I'm sure we can find a spare key for applying something.

        Thanks.
        Regards,

        Toby Blanchard

topy, your hotkey selections are pants.

S is for saving and P is for printing.

          F1 is for help
          F is for find
          O is for open
          A is for all

          these are the standards.

you dear sir, are reinventing the wheel.

ctrl+shift P is for new product?
ctrl+shift S is for new section?

          wishlist item: reconfigure hotkeys.

why not change it so we can define our own hot keys, lots of other programmes allow this.
have a list of shortcuts we can choose, then ask what keys we want to assign.

              excellent idea...
I'd like "HELP!!" to be accessed via frantic pressing of the "HOME" key (which is where I'd often rather be )

              seriously though....good idea

Cheers for the suggestions. I'll pass these on to the development team.

                  dragging this up again...

my keyboard shortcuts don't appear to work and I don't know if it's just me

I'm adding products with a lonnnnnnnnng list of choices...so I thought I'd use the "alleged" Ctrl +H that my right-click tells me is "New Choice"....except it doesn't work that well!

Example, I fill in a new choice...ok..then click the "enter" button to enter it properly. New choice appears in product tree.

Then CTRL+H to enter next one...and nothing!

In order to get the CTRL+H to work, I have to move the highlight off the newly entered choice (with the mouse!) and back again...THEN, on refocussing on the bottom (just entered) choice, CTRL+H works.

Kinda defeats the object, wouldn't you say?
I'm after a quick way of entering them without moving to my mouse every time..and it doesn't work

                  Can anyone else confirm this?

Hi Tracey - I can confirm that the focus needs to be on the content tree in order for 'Ctrl+H' to work. You can just click on the title bar if the content tree and focus will go back - but I totally get that this is irritating. I'll report a bug.

thing is, Chris, the focus appears to be on the content.
After pressing enter on a previous choice, it is highlighted blue in the content tree as if the focus is on it, however it's obviously not really.

                      Thanks
