    Designer/Catalog - Running Own Store

I have a copy of Actinic Designer but want to run my own store, it seems that I will need Catalog AS WELL as designer to do this, the question is how does the software know to open under Catalogue to run the store rather than opening it designer when both are installed on the same computer ?

    Hope that makes sense !

The software key tells it what to open as you get a different key for each product.

The same actinic opens in all versions its the key which allows various features

You cannot run designer and catalog/client on the same PC.

you could use catalog client rather than catalog

client excludes design options but includes order processing and product management

designer excludes order management and includes design and product management

just open File > Sites and enter whichever key you have!

I have designer, business and catalogue all running in my V8 installation

I don't have client, however, but I'm sure Jo probably does and I would imagine that it's activated/used in the same way

Must admit that Ive not tried to do it again since V8 came out - I process orders on a dedicated PC now so no real need for me to get it working.
