Sections, sections, section

Hiya

In my search function i have one drop down with <actinic:variable name="SearchablePropertyList" /> and the other is <actinic:variable name="SearchSectionList" />. Is there a way that i can make the search include the property list when i search by section?

I didn't really understand the question to begin with but are you saying you have a custom property search dropdown AND the search by section on your site currently?
And you want it to combine both searches into one result?

In your search settings..on your searchable properties tab, do you have "AND" or "OR" checked?

I would have thought that, if you have "AND" selected then it should automatically combine the section and searchable properties search?

I could be misunderstanding you though. If I am, you'll need to clarify what you're asking because this is probably why no one has replied!
