Skipping Checkout Page 1

Ok, I know this is a hot potato, but why is it not possible to skip the first page of the checkout somehow? For me, I only deliver to the UK and only to the billing address...

Is there no way that the perl script can be set so that it defaults to this behaviour and skips the check (and page 1)?

I don't know enough of perl to work my way through it.

Paul,

You can, but only if you have simple shipping or do not charge shipping at all (or use the surcharge settings to charge shipping, like us).

Oh, and as I was looking at your site I noticed you are getting a certificate error in the checkout, you might want to look into it.

EDIT: In fact I can't get any further than the certificate error, just jumps back to the catalog

I think this might not be possible for me as I have complicated shipping - spend over £30 free 3 day, spend over £50, free next day...

Its too late for me now <s> but I will have a look at the other thread tomorrow. thanks for your advice.

My cert is being replaced soon (moved cart location) and I had an _accident_ with my perl which killed the cart lol.

Paul,

Just heading off there myself, however, if you just have those 2 shipping classes you should be able to set them up as surcharge/discounts depending on order values.
