On Looking it appears that it is all the images that I use in my popups, the confusing thing is that these image names are all unique to each product, and only used once that I can see (for popups only).

I used the variable Image1-Image6 and choose the image in each product under properties, I then inserted the code that norman pasted. I'm confused...

I can clearly see that in preview all my popup images have double back slashes...

Has anyone any ideas? I've looked this all morning with no luck. I am only using the images once and cannot understand why it is listing one with a single back slash and one with a double. I was wondering if it was try to upload the images in the properties sheet, and then the reference to it in the product body? Here is the code in my product layout:

I have these for Images1-6 In each product page, selecting the image within the product properties sheet. With Variables Image1-Image6.

Have you searched the forum for suggestions, as your initial post indicates you are experiencing an issue that others have had and thus solutions are documented too.

Hi Jo, yes I have searched, for hours, and am still doing so. I cannot find anyone experiencing the double backslash problem, more people experiencing problems with multiple folders, with same name files.

sorry i just saw the very bottom of your first post.

We see all kinds of problems with image referencing, to the extent that i always place my images in site1 without subfolders.

what path are you using in ext info properties, image?

/images/section/image.jpg?

I don't know the solution i'm afraid, but surely it all points to the patch you are using being wrong, if noone has experienced this before. Either that or you need to go through and start again in case you have made a mistake along the way.

Hi Jo,

I am using subfolders within the Site1 folder

Images/Product Name/various images in here

I wondered if it was because I altered my extended info page to look like the rest of my site.

You see on my product page I have inserted the code above to popup the images 1-6 by clicking the text, I realised that I also had these same links on my extended info page, I tried deleting the code for the popups from the extended info page but it still has the conflicts.

I'm lost these images are only used once on the product page. I was wondering if it was trying to upload the variable and then upload again for the variable reference in the layout? confused...

For my main image on the extended info page I do not use the image path in the extended info tab. My main ext info image is linked from the extended image code 'includes add to cart button' it points to 'productimagelayout'

Could this cause the product image to be duplicated, once on the product main page, and once on the extended info page if they both refer to 'productimagelayout'?

I still dont understand the other images being duplicated. I use large1.jpg for the product image and extended info so could maybe understand this, but the other 5 images are only used for popups, and only referenced to the Image2-6 variable from the product layout code.

BUG!

I found out that if I delete the reference to the variable i.e. 'ExtraImage1' in the layout code, apply it, then reinsert the variable and click apply again. The double backslashes are gone and it uploads fine with no conflicts!

Geeee whizz actinic.

In that case, you might also find that closing actinic down and then restarting it, also does the same trick.

Tried that before, and compacting etc. Nothing worked except deleting the reference and applying etc as above.
