change gif buttons to "Standard Buttons" in shopping cart

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to change the gif buttons in the shopping cart to standard push buttons. I have found a solution on a previous thread which applies to version 7 but I cant find a solution that applies to standard 8.

Hi

Please try this and see if it helps. Switch to the Desing tab of the software and click on the "Addtocart" , in the code window click on the "Navigate to parent layout" icon(small arrow pointing upwards) to go into the parent layout, usually the Product layout. In there the layout selector of the "addtocart" will be selected, right click and goto Edit Appearance from there you can change the layout through the "Use Fixed Layout " field . I would suggest using the "Add to cart button" layout.

Please make sure you have backup of your site before you try this.
