alphabetical most of it, site root is one of the very last as it is processed as site_root_index or something similar.

pretty sure the html files and images are done alphabetical. F knows about the rest, i sit in awe thinking wtf are you sending to the server most of the time.

Don't forget numerals and punctuation eg "!" come in higher than letters on a PC.
