    Hierarchical Import

I am trying to work out how to import a .csv file into actinic in a hierarchical format.

To get an idea of what to put in what fields I exported the file as a comma delimited .csv file.

However, if I add another product either in actinic or the spreadsheet and then try to re-import the exact same file back in to actinic I just get the following msg...

An unexpected error occured while trying to carry out the import. Please check your settings and try again.

Then the error text file says...

Line 18: Wrong number of fields. Expected 74 but got 72.
Line 20: Wrong number of fields. Expected 74 but got 72.

What am I doing wrong here?? Please help!!

Error message importing a hierarchical .csv file

      Hi

I get the same error message when importing such a file too. However this only happens when I attempt to update my Actinic shop. No problem occurs when I replace the existing dbase.

Any thoughts on why this should happen?

at a guess you opened it with ecxel and its taken over a setting

use notepad or similar then try to re-import
Remembering the road to Actinic enlightenment is a long and sometimes painful one.
