where can i extract the version number from the actiniccatalog.db?

i'm tryint to detect the version number, i can do it from the online catalog, but i can not seem to find where its hiding in the database.

is there a table of version numbers and XXXX letter version tags someplace?

    Hi Gabriel,
Is it the "HFUA" version number you are after?

It's in the table "Setup" in a field called "Update prog version no"

FYI each section and product also has an "Update prog version no" in their tables "catalog section" and "product" respectively.

They give you a little bit of history about what version the section/product was created in.

Fergus is spot on for the HFUA and...

The 8.5.1 etc. version no. is in SetupInfo | sName | sDesignVersion

In my db it is at nID 234.

I noticed this actually. It's interesting to see just how long some of my stuff has been hanging around!
Might have to have a clear out

Ermm... you mean something that will tell you the letters for each of the releases of the various Actinic incarnations?

We have a historical (hysterical) list of patches and updates with the version numbers and letters for V6/7 and 8 here:
              http://www.teclan.co.uk/patch/index.html

You could manually make a little lookup table from this info? No?

The next challenge is to come up with what those acronyms stand for in relation to that version. I'll go for:

I'm sure Actinic have a similar page somewhere as well. I'm sure I saw a link to it on the forum somewhere.....
