    Domains redirected to one site

    Hi
I have a client who's bought four new domains which he wants pointing at his existing site www.gjhtrading.co.uk.

From looking at the threads I've deduced that a 301 redirect is the way to go.

    1. If I use this method will it negatively impact his original domain and
    2. Is it worth including anything on the index pages for these domains

I know this might have been covered elsewhere but I can't find it if it's out there.

    thanks
    david

    That's two No's.

A qualified no for #1 - your redirect has to point all request for anything on the extra domains to the root of the in service site.

An emphatic no to #2 - Creating an index page with text other than a link directly to the in-service site root would leave you open to 'doorway pages' penalties.
