£ signs missing!!

I've just started to create my site, but for some reason the pound sign is missing from the start of the prices and has been replaced with a '?' . What have I done here and how do I get it back to a £?

Sorted!! I just needed to change the Characterset from AddDefaultCharset UTF8 to AddDefaultCharset ISO-8859-1.
