Paypal not returning, and not receiving emails

Hi all,

well I thought it was time to sit back and relax, bugger. I am using 8.5.1.

I have made the changes to the occpaypaltemplate, and added the line as recommended, I have also turned auto return off on paypal.

What happens is that the order is approved by paypal, then it gives a paypal receipt page, with a button saying "return to the umpc store", nothing then happens if its left. If I do click the button, it returns to www.theumpcstore.co.uk/receipt.html, and a receipt is displayed, but still neither me or the customer receives an email.

How do I get paypal to auto return to the receipt without having to click the button? And why no emails?

The contact us page works fine, and emails work from there.

Right I am officially stupid I did not have the send email options clicked in business settings.

One question, should the paypal page automatically return to the receipt page, or does the customer have to click the button?

Hi Mark,

We have just tested our test PayPal account and found the customer does have to click the button to return to the Actinic reciept page.
