Prices from components not adding to final price

Hi there. I have started to create my store with a few example products. Some of these are available in different sizes etc so I've set them up as a choice etc with different prices. However, when you select the different size and click add to cart it only adds the price of the main product and not the extras. What am I doing wrong here?

    Thanks.

without knowing what you did, that's pretty hard to say

Let us know what you did....and we'll let you know what you did wrong.

Your pricing model is set wrong. Scroll down past the image fields on the product's 'general' tab and open your mince pies.

TIP: This only happens when you copy/paste. If you are new and just learning things, do yourself a big favour and DO NOT copy/paste for a few weeks. Copy/pasting when a newbie often means you copy an error into multiple locations and then ultimately have to go through individually and change them all.

Set everything up from scratch and take the time to have a look round at the different tabs. When you see a scrollbar offering the option to scroll, it means there is often more to see. Adjust your window to show everything in one, while you get to grips. You will be amazed what you can find out, if you just spend an hour taking a look round at the different options.

          Good luck.

Thanks very much for that. I am on a very steep learning curve at the moment. I just didn't realise what a huge programme actinic is!! I'm sure I'll get the hang of it all pretty soon tho. Cheers
