All you sage users please help

We currently use three zones for tax within Actinic, UK, EU and Rest of World. Therefore all UK orders are chaged at 17.5%, EU orders are charged at 17.5% or if they are exempt because they have their own VAT number at 0% and finally ROW which are not charged VAT.

Using Actinic Link we want to set up the tax codes as the defaults within SAGE which are

T1 Standard rated transactions - 17.5% (Used for UK)
T4 Sales to VAT registered customers in EC - 0% (Used for EU)
T0 Zero rated transactions - 0% (Used for ROW)

These codes also need to be reflected in the carriage charge tax field within sage.

    Many thanks for any help
    Regards
    Sally

Go to the relevant page in the Actinic to Sage Link help file. Use the options shown in the picture.

I've tried to follow the steps outlined in the document but it only explains the default values that are created in Actinic. It doesnt elaborate on how to set up or change tax codes. Nor does it expain why currently if we place an order using the Rest of the World set up, the order is passed through to Sage as a T9 which isnt set up anywhere as far as I can see!

          Hi Sally,

So you'll need to have advanced TAX set.

Here is how I would set it up - look at attached image.

Try an export and let me know if any errors pop up.

              OK,

Add another row in the Tax grid:

              VAT | Pro-Rata | Blank | Blank | T1

              Now try...

                Hi Toby,

Added Pro-Rata, but then it gave the same error for Exempt so I added that as T2, after this a test order went through from VAT registered company in Ireland as T0 but it should go into T4!

Also within the footer of the order in Sage the carriage tax goes into T1!

                Any ideas?
                Regards
                Sally

Surely someone must use Actinic Link into Sage using the same tax codes as I'm trying to set up?

                      Hi Sally,

Can I grab your site snapshot (File | Snapshot | Export Site) so I can run some tests with my Sage system?

Hopefully I can get the tax grid sorted and send you a screen shot.

                      Sent it to tbsupport/@/actinic/./co/./uk

                      Cheers.
                      Regards,

I tried the settings you sent over but still getting the same problem, I've mailed you the screen shots of the results in Actinic, Link and Sage.

If you could have a look please I would be very grateful
