changing the Order Confirmation email

I want to add/amend text and a download link to the confirmation email.

The text and download link is dependent on the product ordered.

The downloads are quite big 30-60mb so I don't want to use the digital download feature and be faced with massive upload times whenever I do a refresh.

So far i have only found information relating to the digital download feature on this forum.

Any pointers please?

Phil, it will only try and upload the files if they have changed, if they're the same, they will stay the way they are. Also when you do a refresh (not update) it gives you the option to exclude redoing the DD files/images if you want to.

Lee. Ta, I'll give it a go. I found how to edit the email content. does the download link go in the confirmation email?

Phil, i'm no DD expert by any means, but as i understand it, actinic creates and adds the link to the email at the order stage. There is some form of encryption or codename for the files and this is used in the link. There was a post recently about it, can't quite recall what it said tbh.

The link is provided in the confirmation email as far as i know yes.
