Product names in shopping cart page

Hi,

when people select a product it takes them to the shopping cart page.In the shopping cart page only the Product code is being displayed under the description field .

If I wanted to display the name of the product along with Product code where should I be doing this?

Can Anyone please help me.

Revert the cart layout back to factory setting as what you want, is what it does as standard, you have probably messed it up. I presume you understand that the 'short description' field is what will show in the cart.

The ones you have been messing with.

Click the checkbox to see which ones have changed and revert anything with shopping cart or alike in its name. You need to try and stop hacking away at your shop and just have a play with a standard theme until you are confident and have a good idea what you are doing, you will keep running into these difficulties otherwise. Make sure you backup regularly too.

yea it would be nice ,but the problem exists here,the general layout and stuff was done by someone else and I was handed over with this site to bring it into a finished site.

As on a student project placemnet for 8 weeks ,I am expected to satisfy my manager's requirements.and so i would learn the software only for this eight weeks and after I certainly dont know where is this project really going to help me?

So reverting back would bring in the product code and product name under the description field ?The shopping cart page was already designed and now my 'MD' wants me to have the product name to be dispalyed along with the code.

I think you would have got my problem.

To get the product code to show in the cart, you have to tell actinic to do so, it will then add it in for you. The rest of your questions are either out of my remit or have already been answered.

Snapshot before you try anything, you can always go back then.
