Is there anywhere in Actinic to tell me when I last uploaded?

In the actual software on my computer, I mean

I need to know when I last uploaded the Jesters site from my laptop and I'm not sure if I can find out (usually it's maintained/uploaded from hubby's laptop)

I can't remember if I changed the Protx URLs for his site or not.
Now, I know that I've changed it on my V8 installation so, if I've uploaded from his site since then, it'll be using the new URLs on his site too

But, if I haven't uploaded from here since, then I need to change it on his computer as well....which I don't think I have done yet (really can't remember if I did his or not. Will it be carried over with a snapshot from one to the other? Or will I have to change it on ALL the machines we use?)

oh god, I've confused myself now (not difficult!)

FTP to the website and check the date shown against the html files.

won't that only tell me when the site was last uploaded? not when it was last uploaded from MY laptop?
It will have been uploaded numerous times from Nik's laptop since I last worked on it, I just can't recall when that was

Take a look at the *.fil or *.cat files on your PC. I think they're generated when you update your website.

ooh, Mike (again LOL) thank you

that would have told me exactly what I wanted to know.
Except that there aren't any...which, I assume, means I haven't uploaded from here at ALL since I last imported a snapshot (and the last date I have for any file changes in that site folder is back in July)

So, I haven't uploaded from here since way back then.

Now, question number 2....did I do the URL changes directly on H's computer or not? LOL
I'm thinking perhaps the forum can't help with that one

Adding it to this evening's to-do list (typical on an evening I'm actually going out!)

yeah, sit down in that char and work on actinic till your eyes explode.

              woopwoop!!

actually, it says in the database when you last uploaded.

you could open the products table and sort the last updated so that you can see the last product you worked on.

              then go: /acatalog/A000.cat

to see the moment it was last uploaded.

I think Miss B was after finding out what PC last uploaded her site, not when it was last uploaded

I've been googling how to do this and I'm buggered if I can find the answer

                Sorry Tracey

BUT, the databases on both pc's will show a data that the products were last edited.

its the one that's closest to the day on the cat file that uploaded last.

                  elementary, watson.

blimey...what you've all been up to in my absence ! (had to fetch boys from kids club)

Actually, I wanted to know when THIS computer last uploaded the site.
                      Nothing more really.

It was clear from (some of) the .fil and .cat files when this had last been done.
That's all I wanted to know really (unless anyone can remember if I've updated hubbys laptop? No? sheesh...useless )

And here's me thinking my thread was sorted and done...lol

Open ActinicCatalog.mdb in Access and look in the Setup table for the Last Update field.

                          ahhhh...Norman, thats nifty

except it doesn't appear to be accurate
My own catalogue says 11.01 this morning when I updated at about 1pm?

that is beside the point though really as I'm only interested in date so thank you

remember that its in "Actinic time" - its slightly behind "real time"

                              lol Kevin

Well, several uploads and even a refresh (having cart expiry and session init problems ) later and it STILL says 11.08 for the last upload time
