How to change section links to images in v8?

    Hi,

Have searched all of the forums and knowledge with no luck how to change the section links in the navigation into IMAGES.

Where i need to change it is where all the sections are listed.

If anyone can help me a.s.a.p that would be great!

    MANY THANKS

use the section layout that is "image only, no text shown"
    (kind self-explanitory really)

You can change it at section level (in the layout tab) or at site level in the site options (although it'll obviously only cascade down the site if your section layouts are set to "use parent"

        lollerskates!

how did i know you'd ask that?

sadly, you'll have to manually code the html and insert that in the navigations's place.

One last thing, with the links as they appear on the offline preview as: P_wheels.html

Can i insert the link used here as apposed to just wheels.html, which works onsite but not offline?

            Hi there

As you mentioned, if hardcoding the links, you would have to miss out the P_ part of the page name, as these are used for offline page previews, when hardcoding your links you would use the online page name, i.e. wheels.html.

            Hoep that helps
