MFC71.DLL problem

Hi,

I am having a problem with Actinic Designer version 8.5.1. I have made a new site over a several day period from a fresh install and uploaded the site without problems. I then came out of the program and restarted it 5 mins later and I am getting an error with the file MFC71.DLL, then Actinic closes itself.

I have searched the forum and have followed the suggestions to go into access and compress and repair database but this has not helped. I have also reinstalled the software but this has also not made a difference.

I do have a backup of the store so that is not an issue. I just need to get the software working asap so that the store can be completed for my clients with the deadline in less than 24 hours.

Any suggestions on what may have happened or how I can fix the problem? Do you require any other information from me to help with the problem?

That sounds like an installation problem to me, do you have a second system to load up your software and import the snapshot to test? If you do that first, you can eliminate machine/software problem if the same occurs. If it doesn't then you are looking at the snapshot i guess.

Thanks for the help. I installed actinic onto another machine and imported the snapshot. All seems to be working now so can only think that something went wrong on the other machine.
