To me they are totally different - which is why one of the first questions I ask a potential client is DO YOU NEED ACTIVE STOCK CONTROL if the answer is yes then I dont use Actinic. Stock monitoring is a meaningless term IMO.
I've been using TAS Books and am now about to migrate to Sage 50 (because Actinic Link doesn't work with TAS, surprisingly).
Although Actinic only has monitoring, I've assumed that the two-way data exchange between Actinic and Sage 50 permits Sage to do the stock control as usual.
Please tell me I'm correct
