    Problem Generating One Page

    Hi All,

Just completed building up a new site with V8 and uploading.

At the moment tho', the Online Store page (http://www.wellhungandtender.co.uk/acatalog/index.html) doesn't generate correctly. It generates ExternalDesign, rather than setting the contents of each variable.

If you do View -> Source on the page above, the code displayed is the same as if you were to look at the layout code for ExternalDesign. Hope this makes sense!

In Preview Mode everything is fine, and if I use the unsupported 'Generate Site' command the page generates in SiteHTML, although all the links and images fail (presumably due to the unsupportedness). If I don't get anywhere with sorting Actinic, my workaround will be to start with this, sort out all the links and upload with an FTP client.

Any ideas why it doesn't generate this one page?

I have a support ticket open on this, but as I'm closed for business at the moment I thought I would see if anyone else has any ideas.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Murray

Just to keep you informed, I've carried out the workaround as described above, but the problem still remains.

    Many thanks,

      Hi Murray,

I'm sorry I can't help with your problem but couldn't resist a comment on your url. It sounds to me like something from the 'personal' ads.

Problem solved! Actinic support figured out that the online shop cannot be called the default "index.html" - with "online_shop.html" I'm back in business!

Hats off to anyone with the baws to put that in a personal ad!

        Cheers,
