    Linking a Fragment Image

I'm sure this is simple, but can't get my brain around it and can't find it in help, knowledge base etc!

I have a brochure page with links to our sister sites. The brochure page is made up with several fragments, each fragment describing a site and with a image relating to the site. How can I get the fragment image to link to the external URL?

alternatively, you could create another layout template for the item, and assign that.

Wouldn't it be easy to use the fragment's Links tab > tick the Links tickbox, tick image clickable and enter the external URL in the URL: field

        Or do I misunderstand?

          Bounce,

Did a search which returned this thread, basically trying to do the same thing.

Go to "Races" page and any of the fragments should be clickable.

I agree and this is where I started, however it appends the external URL to the shops base URL (check on site as above) if I can stop this happening then I am home and dry!

gabrielcrowe, I have tried your method as well, problem is I need to link each fragment to it's own URL and haven't be able to acheive this, I concluded the same as you (dedicated layout for each fragment) but this seems over complex for what is I'm sure is a common requirement, so wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something simple before going down this route.

          Any thoughts?

          Cheers,

          Frenchy.

You haven't got http:// at the start of the links.
