Importing site to laptop

Help! I have somehow mislaid my V8 catalogue installation disc and need to export my site to a laptop (VAT inspection on Monday ) I am using Version V8.0.2.0.0.0 GJUA. Can I use the current V8 downloadable trial version online and then import into that?

The current version is 8.5.1, if you download that and put your snapshot into it it should upgrade it. How customised is your site? As the upgrade it might cause a few differences when it upgrades it but generally the bulk of it comes through okay.
